Midcentury designers in Mexico and Brazil – like landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx and furniture designer Clara Porset – inspired these patterns.
Their clean, modern lines and simple forms were grounded color, rhythm, and traditions of place. Sketches for public gardens and vintage indigenous textiles influenced many of our patterns. Curved lines contrasted with geometric shapes resonate with a contemporary canvas, and our muted palette brings calm to a space.
Our wallpaper is printed to order using water based inks and FSC certified sustainably sourced paper in the US.
Paper is sold untrimmed, and requires professional installation. Wallpaper installs best on flat, smooth walls. If walls are textured, we recommend smoothing them by "mudding” - a process of applying a layer of joint compound to level the surface area, sanding, and priming before installation. Another option is using wallpaper liner.
